Designing the perfect mountain bike jersey with Endura

Back in February, the Limitlass team had the opportunity to visit Endura’s headquarters in Livingston. Endura is a leading manufacturer of high-performance cycling apparel and accessories, as well as Limitlass’ lead partner for 2023. The team at Endura kindly invited us down to chat event plans and work on a very exciting project designing our own custom jersey!

After coffee and a catch up with Marketing Executive Lucinda, we were given a behind the scenes tour of Endura’s production facilties, seeing how their custom jerseys are produced. From initial design, to fabric cutting, the dyeing process and finally stiching together, the whole process is done on site in Livingston. It was fascinating to see how the jerseys are designed and constructed.

One of the highlights of our visit was working with Endura’s Product Designer Susan to design our own custom jersey! We had so many ideas, which Susan expertly worked through and distilled down into a concept we were all happy with. We wanted something fun and confident, that people would be proud to wear on the trails. We know a lot of people were disappointed to miss out on tickets for Limitlass this year, so we wanted to make sure our jerseys were something that anyone could wear and enjoy, not just those who are coming to the event. That meant, keeping things simple and choosing not to display the event date, which also gives the jersey longevity. We chose the Endura MT500 lite jersey in long sleeve and opted for a women’s fit in, offering the full size range from XS to 3XL to ensure there was a size to suit everyone.

As part of our Limitlass legacy, we’ve chosen to donate 10% of all jersey sales to Developing Mountain Biking in Scotlands Trail Therapy programme. Trail Therapy combines mountain biking with traditional therapies to support those with a diagnosed mental health illness.

The end result was a bright and bold jersey that perfectly captures the vibe of Limitlass. We are thrilled with how the jersey turned out and can’t wait to see you lasses wearing it on the trails!
